We have added a sauna and will be adding a cold plunge as well. The owner Sam started using a cold plunge in 2023 and recently just traveled to Finland to see what the secret is for the world’s longest living people.

We know it isn’t the abundance of light or heat so there has to be something most people aren’t thinking about. Wim Hoff has become famous for a few things including the cold plunge and sauna sessions.

In Helsinki there is a sauna right on the ocean so you can heat up and then take a cold plunge for a few minutes and head back into the sauna.

It is possible to take a dip in the west facing ocean on a beautiful Florencia Beach which is a 10 minute run away and then come back and use the sauna. We will keep you updated when we get the cold plunge tank set up.

For now we hope you will enjoy staying on a 4 acre property with a house and 4 cabins as this is one of the few properties that has space in Ucluelet.
